Many Exchange Administrators are reliant upon
other groups to provision, patch, and manage the Operating System
level information on the Exchange Servers. StealthAUDIT’s
roots as a Windows Administration and 3rd Party Validation tool
enable Exchange groups to query for:
-
Connectors, Policies
-
Protocols
-
Queues
-
Anti-virus definitions and configurations
- Orphaned
Mailboxes and Public Folders
- Users
& Groups and more
The ability to access this information will allow
for an all-encompassing, configuration base lining solution that
will decrease the potential for outages, communication flaws, and
other situations that impose risk to your Messaging
Infrastructure.
Benefits
Here are a few of the many benefits from using
StealthAUDIT:
- Compare
all servers against a “golden baseline” or other
template to determine configuration flaws and drift to ensure build
integrity.
- Detect
Patch Levels to receive a 3rd Party Validation that the all Patches
and Hot-fixes have been applied down to the file level.
- Validate
all appropriate services are installed and running on the Exchange
Server (MOM, Anti- Virus Software, etc.).
- Detect
baseline security settings are correct and receive a Security Risk
Scorecard for each machine.
This group of queries collectively interrogates
many Exchange Server properties and compares the queried values
against a set of baseline analysis rules to identify all properties
that are in exception to the baseline. The results are published in
a set of baseline reports indicating each of the exceptions along
with an associated score.
The Analysis rules are based on Microsoft
standards found in the associated KB Articles for each individual
property value.
