Active Directory allows for the automatic
inheritance of permissions and authority to make changes to sub
groups within Organization Units. It’s also flexible enough
to allow the over-riding of that inheritance on any single
attribute or setting. Usually this is done when you need more
restrictive control over a child container than a parent, but it
can also be the case of where the child containers need to have
special permissions applied.
This great flexibility also makes for great
confusion. StealthAUDIT can help add clarity by quickly resolving
effective permission sets and showing you what group policy is
over-riding the inheritance that you're expecting to see at a
certain level of your hierarchy. Don't waste your time manually
digging through the native AD interface to interpret effective
permissions, let our AD Data Collector interpret the complex buried
GPO’s of your organization or show all of the security groups
a user is a member of. We provide the detail you need at the speed
you demand.
