We want you to get the most out of StealthAUDIT. For newcomers and veterans alike, here are some tips to optimize your experience.
Installing – The installation is straightforward. We usually provide a short document of requirements and folks install on their own. If this doesn’t work, then contact support.
Training – We offer free training on the web in a five part series each lasting 90 minutes. The courses offered are:
- Introduction to StealthAUDIT
- Introduction to StealthAUDIT for Exchange
- Advanced StealthAUDIT for Exchange
- StealthAUDIT for Active Directory
- StealthAUDIT for Security and Compliance
We have additional training offerings so check out our training page to learn more.
Know the Solution Sets and Task Library – These are rich resources of ready-made jobs and queries. Not only do they provide immediate value but also provide great examples of how to customize your own jobs.
First Point of Contact: Call Support – Among software companies, technical support is hit or miss today. We believe and strive to be on target. Don’t hesitate to call us. No press 1 for a sink hole of support here. If we’re all on calls, it will go to voice mail and we will call you back. Building a relationship with our support department will pay off.
Logs – Like most packages today, we write logs of activity as to what has been going on with StealthAUDIT. In the StealthAUDIT directory, you’ll find a file called SADebug.tsv. Each job also maintains a log of when it ran. This log is found in the directory for that job and is called JobName_Log.tsv. The best way to view the log is to grab a freeware editor called Context which is available www.context.cx. We’ve created a highlighter specifically for StealthAUDIT which works with Context.
